Kaj Stenvall

Kaj Stenvall is a Helsinki artist who paints ducks. His work is somewhat reminiscent of Michael Sowa’s paintings, but his paintings are much darker, and their look is much more polished. Unlike Sowa, Stenvall is single-minded in his subject matter. Almost all of his paintings depict ducks or duck-like creatures.

Stenvall’s website is amusing in its careful avoidance of mentioning any particular famous ducks that his paintings might remind you of.
