Found in Finland

I notice Found Magazine recently received a submission from here in Finland; a Laskiainen (sledding day) card from a stranger. Here’s the description:

FOUND by Scott in Helsinki, Finland

This child’s drawing was put through the mail slot in my front door. Mail usually comes to the mailbox down the road by my house, so this was hand delivered by someone who thought I needed it. A few days ago was a holiday called Laskiaissunnuntai, which is the beginning of Lent but is really an excuse for people to eat buns filled with whipped cream or jam and go tobogganing.

Hyvää laskiaista

Brought to you by The Chawed Rosin
